This is organic, first flush tea from the Himalayan Kanchanjunga Tea Estate in Nepal (in the remote eastern mountains). The subtle flavor of this delicate, Flowery Orange Pekoe tea is less intense than chemically grown tea. The tea plants are from prime vigorous 20-25 year old tea plants. The tea estate is noted for its leadership in taking care of workers with above average pay, for providing education opportunities for the children of workers and for care of the environment. Comes with instructions on how to prepare a good cup of Himalayan tea.
