Handmade Papers in a spectacular selection and can be found in various weights, colors and fibers – all acid-free. We sell both mulberry and lokta paper. All of our paper is handmade in either Thailand or Nepal. Our selection is astounding. Paper products include sheet paper, stationery, cards, gift bags, journals and lampshades.
Paper Flowers are delicate life-like and beautiful. Each petal is hand cut, dyed and assembled by women in Thailand. Flowers include roses, hydrangeas, lilies, bird of paradise and many others.
Accessories come in an extensive assortment of natural and brightly colored scarves, belts, earrings, hair clips, wallets, shopping bags and purses. We have a unique selection of vintage fabric bags and hemp products.
Artifacts old and new include Tibetan cymbals, gongs, singing bowls, traditional drums, prayer flags, traditional knives and tools (khukris), ritual objects, bells and dorjie and figures. Ceremonial masks are from Bhutan and Nepal. Many of our masks are one-of-a kind.
Our Giftware and Collectibles encompass a wide range of materials and include dolls, boxes (wood, porcelain, inlay), prayer flags, marionettes (theatrical (old) and new), stationery, antique and new wood block stamps, hand carved bone dreidals, housewares, baskets, animal figures in porcelain, bronze, wood and stone. Musical instruments include flutes, Tibetan cymbals, traditional drums, musical frogs and other traditional instruments.
Jewelry, Buttons and Beads antique and new, in silver, bone, glass, copper, brass, shell, clay, various stones and woods. We offer earrings, necklaces, anklets, bracelets, belly dance jewelry, rings and more.
Porcelain from Vietnam and other housewares include Soy dispensers, vases, tea sets and cups, boxes and more in beautiful designs. Chopsticks, pot holders, wooden spoons, traditonal Nepalese storage vessels, oil lamps and chopstick rests are also available.
Our Hand-loomed Natural Fiber clothing for children, men, women – regular and PLUS sizes is made from wool, silk, hemp, cotton and rayon. We offer vests, jackets, dresses, sarongs, shawls, pants, shorts and hats using traditional weaves. Our collection of antique and new traditional fabrics including embroidery, cross stitch, appliqué, Ikat and batik decorative pieces are extraordinary.
Original paintings – we offer paintings in approximately 8X 10 size from Vietnam. Each is unique and individual. We also carry beautiful thangkas. Again, each is a unique masterpiece….please email us fo information.
Statuary and meditation/ritual items come in a large assortment and sizing, as well as pricing. Some of our statuary are antique with amazing detail and come in bronze, wood, soapstone and other carved materials. Please email us your request and we will be happy to work with you, also check our webstore for items we currently have listed. Meditation and ritual items include dorje and bells, gongs, prayer wheels, singing bowls and others. Not all are currently on our webstore.
Posters – we have quite a selection of posters depicting images of Hinduism and Buddhism. Please contact us for more information.
Certified Organic Tea from the Kanchenjunga Tea Estate in Nepal. We sell first flush tea in both flowery orange pekoe and green tea in 100 gram and 500 gram packages. Email us to purchase.
